We always appreciate hearing from our valuable pet parents!

I cannot thank this place enough. We’ve been here twice now once with my doodle from a snake bite and today for my little poodle thinking she re-herniated her stomach (thankfully we were wrong). Thank y’all not only for being open unlike 90% of vets but also for being so caring, upfront, and honest. Both times y’all were so helpful and compassionate. I appreciate you guys more than you will ever understand for being open when no one else was!! Thank you guys!

We had a great experience last night with Emergency Pet Care caring for our 8 week old puppy. The staff was very informative about the steps they were going to take to treat her. They were also very upfront about the estimate of charges we were facing. They were nice and helpful every time we called to check on our pup. We are glad we chose them!

I have an extremely accident prone dachshund that ate kitty litter tonight. I brought him in tonight to induce vomiting and they had us in and out in less than 30 mins. They place was super clean and staff was very attentive. Definitely recommended!

They took great care of our dog, Penny, after suffering multiple lacerations from breaking a window. We were so worried but their professional, friendly staff immediately eased our concerns with their quick response and exceptional medical attention. Penny is on the mend and back to her old self again. Thank you so much!

I had a great experience. The place was very clean. My dog needed a minor procedure and Dr k was the best. She talked me through everything and our dog is back to her old self. Would 10/10 use again.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Emergency Pet Care. On January 20, 2025, my little fur baby, Sparkle, stopped breathing from what turned out to be fluid in her lungs. I gave her CPR and mouth to mouth to bring her back. She had labored breathing and was very lathargic after I revived her. We have no emergency vets in Anniston. The closest one to my home was in Trussville. I knew about Emergency Pet Care from Sparkle's vet, Dr. Eric Clanton in Jacksonville. When all of our local vets discontinued Emergency care, Dr. Clanton advised all of his Clients of this change and highly recommended Emergency Pet Care. Thank God I remembered this when I needed it. I called Emergency Pet Care before I left my house and was given driving directions to their clinic. Honestly, I cried the entire way, got lost, and had to call the clinic several times before I arrived. I was hysterical at one point because my fur baby was so sick. Upon my arrival, the vet took Sparkle to the back to start treating her. The vet tech completed the necessary paperwork and explained that the vet would come back out and talk to me. The vet explained, in detail, what her plans were, Sparkle's existing CHF issues, and problems associated with older dogs (14). She assured me that she and her staff would take excellent care of my baby, and they did as promised. The vet, the vet techs, and other staff members were extremely compassionate, professional, and went beyond anything that I had expected. The Emergency Pet Care facility was spotless and well organized. Sparkle had an overnight stay in ICU, and was well enough to come home the following day. They explained everthing that had happened overnight and provided me with the most detailed discharge paperwork. The paperworked showed every blood pressure check, her heartrate, medications that were administered, digital views of her heart, lungs, and chest cavity. All were dated and showed the time. I have never been given as much information about my Pet. The attending vet figured out exactly what compounded medications needed to be added to her existing compounded medication, and provided those additional meds in a pill form until I could take Sparkle to her regular vet. All of Sparkle's paperwork was faxed to her vet. It was so easy. I was plesantly surprised at the costs associated with Sparkle's care and overnight stay. It was far less than I had expected. Every facet of the costs was explained. I would highly recommend Emergency Pet Care to anyone who wants the best of the best care for their beloved pets.

This was my first emergency vet experience. My little maniac ate part of a bathing suit and, well, it was hanging out of her backside. They took her on back, in her panties and all, and got her fixed up. Everyone was super nice and so helpful!! Thank yall for delivering top notch care even though it was a busy/stressful day.

We've come here twice and both experiences have been exceptional. The prices are incredibly fair. The staff are incredibly professional and reassuring. I'm so grateful that we can trust that our babies are in good hands here.

They took amazing care of our pup and were super kind to us. Kept us updated on his condition, and even bathed him before giving back to us when he had an accident on himself. Very thankful for them!

If you can make it to Emergency Pet Care in Trussville they are AMAZING. We called on the way there on Sunday (after Anniston denied us over the phone saying the doctor was in surgery.) One of our dogs suffered a severe eye injury, but we knew she was stable enough to make the hour drive. A tech was waiting for us to pull up! They took her into emergency surgery immediately. The doctor came out while the tech was prepping her and talked with us about options. She was very sweet and sympathetic! Within 2 hours they finished the surgery, and Sugar was waking up. We got to bring her home that same day. They took such good, and timely, care of her! The best part about it all is they are VERY reasonable with costs. Wayyy more affordable than Anniston has ever been. Sugar is doing well, and we are thankful for the care she received at Emergency Pet Care!

Very happy with the staff and how they treated my cat and I. Very understanding and compassionate, and didn’t mind me calling as much as I’d like to check on her. They were kind enough to let me see where she would be staying throughout the night. Which provided peace of mind. Most importantly, they were thorough, attentive, and provided the care that my cat needed!

Late last night my sweet adult boy cat suddenly seemed to be in a great deal of pain and kept moaning and growling. Upon inspecting him, we noticed a small amount of blood coming from his urethra. We panicked and googled emergency vet and this was the closest one. I called and cried my way through telling them his symptoms. They were so patient and understanding and told me some of the possible issues, several of which are life threatening. I took him in and he was found to have one of the conditions that are fatal if left untreated. They took such good care of him, provided updates, and took the time to explain in detail what was wrong, every step of the procedure he needed, his chances how much it would cost, and next steps. The estimate for care was about $1300-$1500. The actual bill was $1100 and everything was itemized and explained to me. I am so grateful to the kind and professional staff there. Y'all saved my baby's life and I will never go anywhere else for emergency care. Thank you all so much.

Had a great experience though it was one of the scariest times. Piper was bitten by a venomous snake. I called the clinic frantic and they got me in immediately. The whole staff was kind, and their intensive efforts saved my girl. She came home the next day. Dr. Mayne took the time to explain what to expect during Piper’s recovery and reassured me.

If I could give these folks 10 stars, I would. Earlier this year, my beloved dog ate something she shouldn’t have. She was vomiting blood for hours. Blood coming from both ends as a matter of fact. We brought her to Trussville Emergency Pet Care in the middle of the night and they told us she probably wouldn’t make it through the night, but they did everything they could. Here’s a picture of her on the beach 3 weeks later ❤️ She’s still here now.

Wonderful environment and even better staff members. They listened to me, talked me through several things and definitely helped ease my dog mom anxiety until I was able to get my dog down to the actually ER Vet and get her checked in. Once I was there, Katie and Michelle were amazing in talking me through lots of things and again just making me feel at ease with everything that was going on with my dog. Once I was back in a room (and it took 2hours of parking lot waiting due to being full before we ever got called inside to a room. Just have patience with them if they are busy. They still care and want to help your animal just as much as the other animals they are helping) but once inside, Katie was very attentive and caring. They took my dog back for examination. Then the vet, Dr. Mayne, came out to talk with me. She was amazing, very thorough, and you could tell she wanted the best care for my dog and not all of my money (like all the other reviews say). Then at check out, we met with Lindsey, who gave me price breakdowns of things that I could do if I needed to bring my dog back through the weekend. Overall, it was an amazing experience for both me and my dog. I would highly recommend this ER vet!! The staff is absolutely wonderful and they make the overall experience worth it and truly make sure your dog is taken care of during an emergency situation!

My dog has fully recovered from a traumatic brain injury thanks to the staff at Emergency Pet Cate. The Vets and technicians were so supportive and understanding in my time of distress.
